What's Open RIGHT NOW? was created to solve a simple frustration: knowing what's *actually* open when you need something *right now*. Standard map apps rely on listed hours, which can often be inaccurate due to holidays, emergencies, or simply outdated information.

Our goal is to provide a focused, community-driven tool to find specific types of places (like late-night pharmacies, early-morning coffee shops, or specific food trucks) that are confirmed open based on recent, real-time reports from users like you.

How It Works

We combine data from OpenStreetMap with real-time status reports submitted by our user community. When you search:

1. We find relevant places near you using OpenStreetMap data.
2. We check for recent user reports confirming if a place is open or closed.
3. We display the most up-to-date status we have, prioritizing recent user confirmations.

The accuracy of the app depends on users helping each other by submitting quick open/closed reports when they visit a location.
